Go on a tour of two Manitoba hog farms without leaving the classroom.

Students will:

• discover where their food comes from and how it is produced.
• Learn how Andrea Elias and Craig Sawatzky:
  • provide all the components; food, water, living space, shelter and more, to create a great habitat for their hogs.
  • Use technology to monitor and provide for the health and well-being of the hogs
• Identify some of the careers involved in producing sustainable, safe, and nutritious pork for Manitobans and people around the world.
