Go on a tour of Stepler Farms near Miami, Manitoba without leaving the classroom. Students will: • Discover where their food comes from and how it is produced. • Learn how Andre: o Provides all the components; food, water, living space, shelter and more, to create a great habitat for the beef cows. o Discover how the beef cow is well adapted to live in Manitoba. • Identify the nutrients provided by beef and its place on the Canada Food Guide plate. • Identify some of the careers involved in producing sustainable, safe, and nutritious beef.
